Good printer with a genuinely brilliant ink system, but a couple of things to be aware of. Print speed is on the slower side  fine for everyday home use but not ideal if you need to churn through large batches quickly. The printer also uses a small amount of all ink colors during maintenance cycles even when only printing black, which is a common inkjet trait but worth knowing. That said, the long-term cost savings over cartridge printers are substantial and the 2-year warranty with registration gives solid peace of mind. Worth it for moderate home use.

The cartridge-free EcoTank system is the smartest thing to happen to home printing in years. Up to 4,500 black pages and 7,500 color pages per ink set the savings versus traditional cartridges are enormous and the environmental benefit of zero cartridge waste is a genuine bonus. The Micro Piezo Heat-Free Technology produces consistently sharp text on plain paper and vivid color on photo stock. Wireless printing from tablets and smartphones works seamlessly. Excellent all-in-one for a busy family home.

This printer has completely changed how I think about printing costs. I bought it over a year ago and I'm still on the original ink that came in the box two years of ink included is no exaggeration at our household's print volume. The EcoFit bottles are brilliantly designed; filling the tanks takes 30 seconds with zero mess and zero spills. Print quality is sharp and accurate for both documents and color photos. The wireless setup from my phone was quick and the flatbed scanner is clear and reliable. A genuinely transformative home printer.
