Honestly disappointed. Setup was more involved than the plug-and-play experience I expected switching between TV and game mode wasn't as intuitive as advertised and took a fair amount of tinkering. Several PS2 and heavier titles stuttered noticeably despite the claims of smooth performance. The included gamepads also feel very budget quality. The sheer volume of games and the dual-system concept are good ideas but the execution needs work. Fine for a tech-savvy user willing to tweak settings; not ideal for casual buyers expecting an out-of-the-box experience.

Decent retro console with a lot going for it on paper. The S905X2 chip handles most emulators up to PS2 smoothly with minimal frame drops, and BT 5.0 means I could pair my own controller easily. The included gamepads are functional but feel a bit plasticky compared to what you'd pair via Bluetooth. The Android 9.0 side works well for streaming apps. My main gripe is the UI on EmuELEC takes some time to navigate when you have 100,000+ games to browse a better search or filtering system would help enormously.

For the price this is an impressive package. The dual-boot between EmuELEC 4.6 and Android 9.0 is genuinely useful I switch between the retro gaming mode and Android TV apps seamlessly using the remote. The 100,000+ game library covers an enormous range of classic platforms, the 4K 60fps output looks crisp on my TV, and the Gigabit Ethernet with dual-band 5G Wi-Fi means online performance is fast with no buffering. Being able to add your own games is a great touch too. Good value retro box.
